Hello, This book club was created in January 2010. Do you read everything in sight—even the cereal box? Does your desire to travel exceed your vacation budget? Do you like to talk, share your opinion, and hear different viewpoints? If you answered yes to any of the above, then this book club is for you! We love to connect with local readers who share our enthusiasm for books and ideas. We democratically choose titles for several months and meet twice a month for discussions. New members are alwa …

Our little book club is hoping to grow. We meet monthly to chat, laugh, discuss books and laugh some more. The people in our group range in age from 25 - 35, and we're a pretty diverse bunch. We read mostly fiction, and we take turns choosing the books. The person who chooses the book for the month also hosts the next book club meeting. Our meetings are usually held at a member's home or a restaurant, and we meet the second Thursday of the month. The gatherings usually start at around 7pm, an …

See you at the next Kalamazoo Business Book Group meet-up.
Founded in late 2009 by Johnny the Nomad, we've been meeting ever since to discuss books, with thirty under our belt at the beginning of 2013. We take an informal format, try to be more welcoming and inclusive to newcomers than many private book clubs, and make sure we occasionally talk about the book in between having fun. We typically meet twice per book, once on the weekend and once on a weeknight. We try to alternate between fiction and non-fiction. We pick books by consensus, and any member …

Do you daydream about dragons? Wonder if you are a top potent ley lines? Perhaps your latest tarot reading brought you here. If you are wondering whether you'd be better off as fae, lupine or a dragon slayer, then you'lve found your pack. Because really, can you talk about this stuff to your coworkers? And if you did, what would they think when you quite adamantly explained that garlic is such urban legend and the daylight thing, what a faux pas!

This year long series of informal discussions, moderated by library staff, will lead you to new reading experiences as you learn about hot subgenres. My Goals over the next few years are to get a core group of people who are willing to network, learn and give feedback so that everyone in the group can start improving their businesses. In other words a focus group. Creating solutions to help grow. Ex: I am a Realtor. I would give my listing presentation to everyone and in turn everyone would give their opinion on how I could improve the presentation itself and my services. I could also ask everyone questions about what they would like to see c …

This is a MOM'S Group, not really a PLAYGROUP. The fact that our kids get together and make friends is a bonus, but our main focus is creating and maintaining friendships. So if you are strictly looking for a playgroup this probably isn't the group for you. This is a tight-knit group for women who want to form friendships and memories with other women who just happen to be mother's too. The group's activities give mom's the chance to connect with each other, keep our kids busy, spend time with o …

I ask for a small donation because I do not have a job yet, and I have very limited money. I created this group so I could make friends in Grand Rapids, since I don't know anybody here. Today, more and more people are harnessing the power of the Mastermind Group to help them think bigger. If you have a strong desire to succeed then we would like you to become part of our group.
