40 Meetup Groups match “Book Club” near Florissant, MO
This book club is an offshoot of Hip Mamas St. Louis play group, but you do not have to be a member of Hip Mamas to be a part of the group. We will read a book per month. Our discussions will be held during a "moms night out" type event, either at one of our houses, or at a public venue. In the past, these events have allowed for a great discussion, but also a nice opportunity to hang out with other women socially and talk about whatever we want (not just the books). We've run this group in a va …

Hey girls! Meet kindred book lovers in a local Meetup Book Club! Fiction or non-fiction, you'll read a new book every month. Come to laugh, share stories and make new friends! If you want to join a "serious" book club and impress us with your intellect, this is not the book club for you. But if your idea of a good read is "The Devil Wears Prada" rather than "War and Peace", then give us a try! We will vote as a group on a new book every month, and if we're all in the mood for something a little …

Do you ever think about faith, culture, life and how they are all intertwined? Do you like discussing books that make you think? Do you enjoy reading authors such as Donald Miller, Anne Lamott, Mike Yaconelli, Henri Nouwen or Tim Keller? If so, then join us on Sunday mornings at 7 am for our new group Books that Make You Think.
Love reading? Meet us the last Tuesday of the month to talk about a different book every month. Members will have the option of hosting a month, meaning they get to pick the book and lead the discussion (though don't worry, we're all talkative and more than willing to talk up)! We're looking for new members who need to get out of the house and wanting to meet some energetic and fun people.

This will be a thematically broad reading group. We may take suggested books from other groups, but we will not be bound by any list. Mainly our book selections are chosen through a group voting process. I will bring discussion questions to each meeting but we are in no way obliged to answer all of the questions or any of them at all if we so choose. They are merely a spring-board to get the conversation going. Books will be within the comprehension of the average educated adult- but complex eno …

We are residents of the Greater St. Louis Area (and other areas) concerned about the many disturbing aspects of the 9/11 attacks and interested in finding out more about those events. We share the St. Louis Fusion Center's dedication to ". . . the collection, analysis and dissemination of information used to detect, defend against, or respond to acts of terrorism." We have many disagreements, but we agree that 9/11 is worth inquiring into. We are inclusive as opposed to exclusive. Generally, we …

This club is for anyone who enjoys sci-fi or fantasy films and literature along with related storytelling forms like anime or comics. The club’s first goal will be to connect people with similar interests by planning fun meet-ups around town. Hopefully, most of our meet-ups will be genre related but it would also be great to throw a BBQ in a park with a bunch of fellow fans. After establishing a solid group the club’s second goal is to allow people to explore more specific interests. Think steam …
