Girlfriends Book Club (GBC) is not only a book club but a sorority of some sort. Founded in 2004, Girlfriends Book Club has branched out to form a total of 3 chapters, including the Raleigh chapter. Not only do our members have a passion for reading, but they also have a place in their heart for volunteer activities, fundraisers and Black History awareness.

We desire to tell our stories as we live out the gospel of Jesus in the triangle. This is a group for anyone who is interested in writing on a blog, a book, or submitting articles for publication. We will encourage each other in our writing, have a chance to read from what we are currently working on, and critique each other's work. We also desire to have quarterly guest speakers.
