Read new books and make new friends! Women of all ages are welcome to join us once a month to discuss a new book, and to enjoy some food and fun.  Meetings are the third Monday of every month, 7pm at Sweetbay by Creekmore Park.

There is a fantastic women's reading group (NWA Women's Book Group) but their meetings were on Tuesday's and my husband has soccer every Tuesday so I wanted to start a group closer to home (Bentonville and Rogers) that was open to men, women, in betweens alike! The purpose of this group is to foster continuous learning and socialization for women of all ages interested in things typically described as "nerdy," newcomers to Tulsa and long-time residents alike. My hope is that this group will foster a community of enrichment and growth. The Arabic language is beautiful and rich; Arab/Middle Eastern culture is diverse and its depths are endless. I'd like to share this experience with individuals. My vision is to have a group of us MEET UP (monthly? Bi-monthly?) and have ARA conversations, grammar talks, movie nights, culture/religion-awareness nights and discussion groups, book club mtgs, current events talks, dance parties and attend various events, etc. The sky is the limit, if I may borrow the colloquialism.
