Do you live in the Harrisburg area and seek to meet some like minded individuals who share similar interests? Relatively new to the area and want to stay active and meet some new friends around your age - 20s/30s/40s? Me too! You don't need to be veg to join (but the more the merrier!). There used to be a book aspect to this club too (reading and discussing). I'm all opened for that still, but I like concentrating more on the outdoors/veggie/meet people part of it. HOVM if you will. Anyway, …

Think BIG- Business Innovation Group- Central PA Business Peer-to-Peer Discussion Groups & Business Networking. For some time, I have been disappointed with many of the networking groups and the Lancaster Chamber's small business programs. It seems as though these groups attract bankers, real estate brokers, insurance companies, multi-level marketers and other large franchisees or organizations. 72% of the Lancaster Chamber members have 4 or fewer employees yet the programs are geared to much …

Sahaja Meditation is meant for everyone who desires to find his or her true self, which is full of peace, joy of life and love for others. It is not just a book or a set of exercises but a living science that will open up to you gradually as your meditations become deeper and your experience stronger and more fulfilling. Sahaja Meditation was developed by Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi. It involves the awakening of a subtle spiritual energy which lies dormant in the sacrum bone, rolled up in a spiral …

Join this group if you love or are interested in discussing our Constitution and Bill of Rights, and are sick of politics as usual. This group will provide the opportunity for discussing current events and political issues from a classical liberal / paleoconservative / constitutionalist / libertarian point of view, and to support local and national political candidates who hold those views. This meetup will also serve as a venue for Ron Paul supporters from all political backgrounds to organize …
Having suffered from Fibromyalgia for over nine years I have found a huge need for face to face real human support from others who also suffer from Fibromyalgia. There is not one specific Fibromyalgia group within the Carroll County area. Depending on the outcome of our first couple meetings we will be changing this tragedy. I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia in 2006 (but was diagnosed correctly after three years of misdiagnoses), and I have been on a mission of research, knowledge and awareness …

Ideally, this group will be people from 18 through 100 who want to get together and talk. We would generally follow the book by Christopher Phillips. We will about once a month.

"There is something in every woman that objects to injustice. But when she sees it happening to the most vulnerable, there is an innate quality in her that rises against it even more fervently." We are a volunteer support ministry of World Vision. We serve locally at homeless shelters, we raise awareness about poverty and oppression, we gather for book chats, bible studies, speakers, offer child sponsorship and also do some fund raising for World Vision. One of the best things about Women of V …
A Course in Miracles is a 1200 page, three volume book. The Course was authored not by a person, but by an "inner voice" that dictated the material to a research psychologist in the midst of a remarkable, unfolding story. We will be reading, a small part of a commentary, then listening to your input based on your life experiences, intuition and God's voice. We will study A Course in Miracles but will be developing a group of like-minded spiritual people - what Napolean Hill described as a Master …

Theravada Buddhism is the oldest of the Buddhist religions. The founding members are experienced meditators, each with over 25 years of meditation experience. In the US, the best known Buddhist religions are Theravada, Zen, and Tibetan. The differences between them, particularly between Theravada …

I'd like to re-read all of the books in ASOIAF with others who have already read them. The first time through i went too fast and would like to slow down and read them with others. I would also like to read the last two books (AFFC and ADWD) with a combined chapter reading list that puts the chapters in the correct order. We could decide on the pace and how often to get together.
