To meet-up once a month with people and over hot beveages we'll talk about great classic books...and anything else that may come-up in tangent but relevant fashion...
“For some of us, books are as important as almost anything else on earth. What a miracle it is that out of these small, flat, rigid squares of paper unfolds world after world after world, worlds that sing to you, comfort and quiet or excite you. Books help us understand who we are and how we are to behave. They show us what community and friendship mean; they show us how to live and die.” ― Anne Lamott, Bird by Bird: Some Instructions on Writing and Life This group is intended for women 50+ in t …

… I'm not booking rooms so everyone can go off on their own. There will be free time, and I will also ask for suggestions in advance for each trip we take, so I can plan the schedule and make restaurant reservations. I want to do most of the planning in advance because these are my vacations too, and I would like to enjoy the time we are there. Many of these trips will be planned around events and festivals, so we have a focus for our trip. While we have free time when we're away on longer …
