For those who love to read books, talk about books, share books. I've been missing being in a book club in the year that I've lived here. This group is open to women and men, but it is a social group to discuss books and the stories we love. I plan on implementing a schedule for choosing books. This club (originally in Boulder, then Atlanta, now Chattanooga) is for folks whose taste in books runs toward the strange, idiosyncratic, and occasionally difficult. Or for those who want to sample texts outside their preferred reads. Ideally, it will be a place to hash out & attempt to understand or (at the very least) appreciate nonstandard texts of national & international origin. Books for discussion will adhere to no rhyme or reason beyond the guiding principle of peculiarity.
