Thanks for visiting us. For the near future we've stopped accepting new members, but we may resume later, when we've got the group working to our satisfaction. Do you love to read? Do you read a lot? When you read a book you love, can you say why? When people ask you about the last book you read, do you just say it was "beautiful" or "thrilling" or "I couldn't put it down?" Do you wish you could say more, but nothing comes to mind? Are you looking for a few more good books to read? You've c …

As a new Momma-to-Be, I'd love to meet other Mommas / Mommas-to-Be in the area. Every Momma needs a little "me time." What better way to relax than with a book?! I'd love to invite all of you into a monthly book club, where we can discuss recent reads, vote on upcoming reads, chat about all the great (and sometimes not so great...) things about being a momma, and just get in a little R&R before heading back into our hectic lives of motherhood. Depending on the size of the group, we can take turn …

We like to read obviously. I started this group because there was a book club group that seems to have fizzled out a bit but there were people who were still interested. I've never been in a book club before but I figure a bunch of strangers could be in the same room and talk about a book without any problems, am I right? I like the idea of meeting in a public place so folks can get something to eat or have a few drinks. Anyone is welcome to join provided they like to read. If nothing else it's …
The Good Reads and Good Eats book club meets at 7:00 p.m. on the first Tuesday of each month at a local restaurant to discuss the month's book selection. Book selections are made monthly through a poll on this website.

The purpose of this group is to give those who love to read, but who may have a different schedule than the regular 9 to 5, a book club of their own. I (the organizer) have an unusual schedule and cannot be part of a book club that meets in the evenings, though I love to read and am very passionate about books. So I decided to start a book club of my own. We will meet once a month during a week day. Once I get enough interested people, perhaps we can decide on the day that would work best for ev …
This group is designed for independent thinkers with a focus on reading books that challenge the standard narrative of culture, i.e. concepts that are generally accepted as true by the greater populous, but may not be entirely accurate. We focus on non-fiction, scholarly books that take a critical approach to cultural and technological issues. Every third book, we will switch to fiction that stimulates thinking outside the box. While this group is designated non-theist and affiliated with the …

Anthony Burgess was motivated to finish multiple novels when he was told (mistakenly) that he was going to die of brain cancer. In lieu of a mis-diagnosis of terminal illness, this is a group for those in the greater Richmond area who want to take their writing to the next level. The group is open to writers of all genres and all ages, but only to writers who are serious about a commitment to being a productive writer. I hope to find others like me who need a supportive place to improve their wr …

This group is for those who are truly interested in metaphysical matters and want to learn from someone who’s actually ‘been there,’ rather than ‘I read a book about it and now I’m going to share it with you in a class.’ Not that I look down my nose at these people. I am one of the first to admit that finding a real teacher today is (hee-hee) a miracle in itself. Unless you’re of the mind that everyone is your teacher and I can certainly agree with that. Sometimes the longing to be with those …

To develop more intimate relationships with family, friends, and lovers. To make your life count. We plan to mee …

We have been Young Living members for about 12 years and have been fortunate enough to have studied with Gary Young on numerous occasions. We became a members of Young Living Oils because I was born with the gift of seeing energies around people and things and had the ability to correct wounds and anomalies in the energy bodies. I had been doing my version of Energy Balancing for about 25 years when I was introduced to Gary and Mary Young and the oils. When I ‘saw’ how they supported, strength …
