This group is for both repeat readers of Jane Austen's works as well as first-time readers who would like to discuss the works of Jane Austen (as well as popular movie adaptations of them). The book club is not academic, but merely for casual readers who wish to participate in discussions for the purpose of enhancing their reading enjoyment.

Group meets to study and discuss philosophers and other social critics. Our focus is works which help to diagnose our modern condition, with an eye toward economic and environmental issues.
